Project Troubador was set to help send the Casco Bay Tummlers, a fabulous klezmer band from Maine, to the Buenos Aires Klezmer Festival this past year.  However, due to the double whammy of 9/11 coupled with the economic crash in Argentina, the festival has been put on hold.  This gathering would have brought klezmer bands from all over the world to Argentina to celebrate the revival of this fine Jewish music.  Back in 2000 the Tummlers traveled to Lithuania with Project Troubador, breathing life into a tradition snuffed out by both Nazism and communism.  Project Troubador stands on firm footing to help balance another Tummling act in the near future.
